Bertin Makuza will be buried on Monday November 7 at his home in Kagarama Kicukiro district, Kigali after his people pay their last respects in the same residence.
A mourning pray for the 73 year old will take place on Sunday at his home where the vigil is.
On Monday people will meet at the Regina Pacis Catholic Church in the same district to pray before the burial.
Makuza succumbed to liver disease on Wednesday at King Faisal Hospital Kigali. His death was described as untimely because he had woken up normal but later on felt unwell and was rushed to the hospital where he died. The family said, a postmortem showed had been suffering from liver disease for long.
He has left a wife and six children.
His third born said he had internal breeding and was vomiting when he was rushed to the hospital.
The deceased is the owner of Rwanda Foam Ltd a mattress and other bedding materials manufacturing industry, and the Makuza Peace Plaza, a new building in downtown Kigali.
Private Sector Federation (PSF) chairperson Benjamin Gasamagera on behalf of members of the federation said Makuza was a wise man loving the country and enormous contributions to its growth.
“He was an experienced man and was a professional,” Gasamagera said was among the founders of PSF institution.
