Former winger Police FC Amini Muzerwa has signed for Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions side Tusker FC on a two year contract deal.
The winger who was a free agent after being released by the law enforcers completed the moved on Monday evening.
“Tusker FC is delighted to announce the signing of former Police FC Rwanda forward Amini Muzerwa,” reads part of the statement posted by the Ruaraka based side.
The winger also played for AS Kigali under former coach Eric Nshimiyimana, who called him up for national duty in the 2015 CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup played in Ethiopia capital of Addis Ababa. Rwanda lost 1-0 to Uganda Cranes in the final.
Other reliable sources have also told this publication that APR FC player Emery Mvukure is in Kenya to for trails in the same club.
The Kenyan Breweries have been one of the least busy sides during the ongoing transfer window; they have signed two more players as they continue to prepare for the new season.
They have recruited left back Hillary Wandera as well as Clyde Senaji both Kenyas from Nzoia Sugar FC and Vihiga United respectively.
Muzerwa joins a string of other Rwandan players who now ply their trade in the KPL, among is, Jacques Tuyisenge who plays for Gor Mahia, Kayumba Sote plus Justin Mico who play for Sofa Park FC.
