The annual MTN Golf open tournament is expected to take place on Saturday and Sunday at the golf course located in Nyarutarama, Kigali city.
The tournament’s proud sponsor MTN Rwanda will be organizing the 18th edition of the annual event together with other partners like SN Brussels, Satguru and Victoria Motors.
“We are this as like before partnering with MTN to offer the 2017 Mitsubishi Pajero sport as prize for the tournament,” Dr Davis Kashaka, Kigali Golf Club captain Said.
MTN Rwanda management says that during the tournament they have the pleasure to meet and interact with their esteemed customers at the Nyarutarama Golf club.
Winners at the tournament will be contented to take home prizes including the Mitsubishi Pajero sport, tickets by Brussels Airlines to visit Belgium and Samsung iphones.
“Brussels Airlines is sponsoring the tournament and are very proud and hope everyone will win a ticket,” SN Brussels Airline country representative adds.
“It’s our pleasure to be sponsoring the tournament together with MTN and definitely will try to continue as long as possible and I would like to wish all the best of the tournament,” Victoria Motors representative says.
Already KGC members have been updated on the event that will be taking place in the early in the morning to permit them enough time.
“We are very happy that MTN and associates are sponsoring the tournament again.We are here to understand the game of the tournament and what it entails and all the procedures that are taking on Sunday,” MTN Rwanda Representative said.
The Golf course was constructed in 1987 with glass species from as far as Brussels.
The tournament is open to friends of MTN from the region and the conditions attached are that players should be KGC active member.
The first person of 100 golfers playing in the 9 holes to get a ball in one par will register it and at which time.
Winning takes to tee it in hole unlike what used to be a par three tournament.
The different categories will include; handicapped 0-9, 10-18, 19-28 for both men and women.
