Rwanda host the 5th Annual Africa Airport Expansion summit take place on 20- 21st February, 2017 at Kigali Marriot Hotel.
In her Opening Remarks Claire Akamanzi says that the 5th Annual Africa Airport Expansion Summit is timely, building the momentum of Rwanda’s aviation sub sector growth rate. She add that Rwanda Government has prioritized the aviation industry setting a zero tax levy for companies with regional headquarters in Rwanda.
The CEO Rwanda Development Board reinforces at Rwanda Government’s goals in developing the sector by promoting Nice Rwanda & high end leisure tourism. Rwanda seeks to develop the tourism & aviation sector, transmitting the number of transit passengers to tourists staying in the country. The aviation industry in Africa is very important in the global scene because of stable passenger growth.
